Our Shea Butter is specially imported direct from Ghana, West Africa, and in doing so we have helped a group of Ghanaian women set up a co-operative business to sustain their families.

Many other companies tend to refine their shea butter so that it is white in colour and has no fragrance. Our experience is that this refined Shea Butter is only a moisturiser, and its many healing properties are lost in the refining process. We only use pure unrefined shea butter in our products - so none of the healing effects are lost..

Shea Butter is fabulous for cracked heels and is especially good for babies and children with dry skin & eczema because it helps remove the itch and heals the skin up. As it is a totally natural (edible!) product it does not matter if they get the shea butter on their hands and eat it!!

We use Shea Butter as an essential ingredient in many of our products, and also supply the very best Unrefined Shea Butter in 100g and 400g pots.
