Having been an aromatherapist for many years using essential oils for their theraputic properties, I started to incorporate them and high quality fragrances with natural products that we use in our every day lives.

This started me thinking, "What was I putting on my skin?"

I began to research different cosmetics and skin care products and how they were made and how safe were they to use on my skin. This was the start of the Sally Miller Collection - which is family-run business.

All of my products are hand-made in my purpose built workshop in Rosscarbery, West Cork, Ireland; using the finest natural ingredients, containing vitamins and minerals to soften and nourish your skin and with a lingering, heavenly fragrance for you to enjoy.

Through working with aromatherapy clients and my own experience as a busy working mother, I came to realise that life is increasingly lived at a frenetic pace, where time is at a premium.

In a bid to counter this and encourage what I call 'simple, at-home, down-time' I concentrated my efforts in creating this collection on Bath-Time products.

Most of us have given up on the ancient ritual that once was 'Bath Time' in favour of the quick shower. The only problem is that as we shower our muscles are still working hard to keep us upright, and so our poor jaded bodies never quite get that down-time, that total relaxation they deserve. More of us should succumb to the time-honoured treat of a long, hot soak in the tub.

Think back - when's the last time you ran yourself a nice deep bath, added a liberal dash of lavender bath milk, lit the lemon and chamomile scented candles, took the phone off the hook and climbed in? The warmth of the water encourages the muscles to relax completely, relieving stresses, strains and pains.

Shea Butter Products

We use only the finest grade A, 100% unrefined Shea Butter, harvested and hand processed using traditional methods by rural Ghanaian women. This trade promotes the sustainable production which makes a significant contribution to the welfare of the local women and their families.

We import our Shea Butter direct from Ghana, West Africa,and in doing so we have helped a group of Ghanaian women set up a business to sustain their families.

Many other companies refine the shea butter so that it is white in colour and is fragrance-free. We find that refined Shea Butter is only a moisturiser, and its healing properties are lost in the refining process. This is why we have use only pure unrefined shea butter.

It is fabulous for healing up cracked heels and is especially good for babies and children with dry skin & eczema because it helps remove the itch and heals the skin up. As it is a totally natural product it does not matter if they get the shea butter on their hands and eat it!!
